Atlanta Braves grant young cancer survivor’s wish

ATLANTA (WSAV) – An 11-year-old’s wish to meet his favorite Atlanta Braves players came true Wednesday.

Charlie is a survivor who was diagnosed with leukemia at a young age.

Thanks to Make-A-Wish Georgia, he had a behind-the-scenes tour of the Braves clubhouse with center fielder Michael Harris II, played catch with third baseman Austin Riley and watched practice at bat alongside the coaches.

He will also attend Wednesday night’s game against the Washington Nationals.
