Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau Hires Emma Elder as National Sales Director

The Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau (ACVB) announces the hiring of Emma Elder as National Sales Director.

Elder joins ACVB to sell and market Atlanta as a premier group meeting destination, with 251 to 1,200 rooms on peak nights. In addition, she will represent the ACVB at trade shows while coordinating the participation of the organization’s partners.

Before joining ACVB, Elder owned a New England-based wedding planning company, Blue Heron Events. Prior to that, she was a sales and events manager at a boutique inn in Vermont, overseeing sales of all events, room blocks and ground reservations. His responsibilities included developing proposals and conducting property tours for potential clients.

Elder graduated from Ithaca College with a degree in integrated marketing communications and a minor in sociology.
