Two local spas under investigation, accused of prostitution

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – The operations of two local spas are under investigation after authorities say they dismantled an alleged prostitution ring during searches Tuesday.

Authorities are also investigating whether massage parlors are a front for human trafficking.

Cheektowaga police said they raided the Little Foot Spa on Union Road early Tuesday, where they said they found four women.

Authorities said the business was being used as an illegal massage parlor, where cash would be exchanged for sex.

No charges have been filed, but police said the investigation is ongoing and charges are expected.

On Tuesday evening, police said they also raided the Four Seasons Spa on Broadway in Depew, where the business is also under investigation for prostitution.

Police told News 4 they plan to release more information tomorrow.
