Historic Tax Credit Workshop for Homeowners in the Broadway Fillmore Historic District

Preservation Buffalo Niagara, Preservation Studios and Fillmore District Councilor Mitch Nowakowski’s office are in attendance:

Historic Tax Credit Workshop for Homeowners

Are you an owner-occupier in the Broadway Fillmore Historic District? How about a homeowner in a historic neighborhood in Erie or Niagara County? If so, this workshop will teach you how to take advantage of the New York State Historic Homeowners Tax Credit, which helps reimburse up to 20% of your home’s eligible rehabilitation expenses.

Preservation Buffalo Niagara, Preservation Studios and the office of Fillmore District Councilor Mitch Nowakowski are hosting a historic tax credit workshop for homeowners at the Eugene V. Debs Hall, 483 Peckham St., Buffalo, NY, on 29 May at 6:00 p.m.

Restoring the charm of a historic home, whether replacing a roof or renovating a kitchen, often involves a significant investment of time and resources. Budgetary constraints may encourage savings to be made to reduce costs. However, our workshop is designed to guide you through cost-effective strategies that ensure quality and preservation, helping you make informed decisions that protect your investment without breaking the bank.

Join us for a special evening to find out how you can qualify for the Historic Homeowners Tax Credit! This program exists to help you with repairs and restoration of your home!

Come take part in this wonderful initiative to learn more about historic tax credits and how they can help you preserve the charm and character of your historic home. Pizzas and drinks will be available for purchase.
