DiPaolos expands Woodlawn Beach events venue

BUFFALO, N.Y. — A modest expansion is expected to have a major impact at the Lodge at Woodlawn Beach, the event center operated by the owners of Ilio DiPaolo’s Restaurant in Blasdell.

Construction on an addition of just over 1,000 square feet began this month and is expected to be completed by June. Concept Construction is the general contractor.

The lodge is a popular venue for weddings, graduations and other gatherings, with a maximum capacity of 250 people, according to Ilio DiPaolo. The expansion was born from the desire for a space open all year round, not just in summer.
