Region II
Bridgeland 4, Rockwall Heath 0
Bridgeland wins the series 2-1 and advances to the regional final
Bridgeland’s playoff run continues.

After losing the first game of their series against Rockwall Heath, the Bears (32-12) responded with two straight wins.

Dylan Duffy was lights out on the mound for Bridgeland on Saturday, allowing four hits in five shutout innings. Josh Livingston got the save, pitching two perfect innings to close out the deciding Game 3.

Benji Berrera led the way for the Bears at the plate, going 2-for-4 with a homer and three RBIs. His three-run shot in the seventh inning gave his team a small lead in what was otherwise a very close contest. Weston Riddle had a triple and a sacrifice fly.

Bridgeland will face Tomball (37-3) in the regional championship round next week with a state tournament berth on the line.

London 3, Columbus 0
London wins the series 2-0 and advances to the regional final
Columbus reached the end of the road with a Game 2 loss to London.

The Cardinals (25-10) struggled against London pitcher Blake Watters, who struck out nine in a complete-game shutout.

Kaleb Kuhn pitched admirably for Columbus, allowing four hits and one earned run in six innings. He had eight strikeouts.

London advances to face Falfurrias, who beat Industrial in the regional semifinals.
