Sam Houston to host 2027 CUSA baseball tournament | Sports

HUNTSVILLE — In a press release sent by Conference USA, Sam Houston has been selected as the host site for the 2026-27 CUSA baseball tournament.

The event will be held at Don Sanders Stadium and will be the first since 2008 when Southland held the tournament at the stadium.

Don Sanders Stadium opened in 2006 when the Bearkats hosted Texas Southern. It has a capacity of 1,163 people, according to gobearkats.com.

The CUSA baseball tournament is currently being held in Ruston on the campus of Louisiana Tech. Liberty is scheduled to host the 2025 tournament and DBU will host the 2026 tournament.
