Officer involved in crash in southwest Houston at Bissonnet and Kirkwood

HOUSTON (KIAH) – Police are investigating a crash involving an officer at Bissonnet and South Kirkwood Road. A patrol unit heading west on Bissonnet attempted to stop a driver when he was struck in Kirkwood. The driver of that car and a police officer who was in the police vehicle were taken to hospital with minor injuries. The police officer driving the vehicle was not injured. For now, we don’t know who is at fault.
