Work carried out this week at the north public access to Buffalo Lake

Work was underway this week on the north public access to Buffalo Lake.

You may remember the effects of open water in late winter, followed by another freeze, only to open up again, forcing part of the concrete slab at the landing to lift up and to become unusable.

The DNR and contractors were working this week to remove old concrete and create a temporary boat ramp. More permanent work is expected to be carried out at the landing stage later this year.
