Casper Police release infographic on current juvenile crime statistics

CASPER, Wyoming – As the community reels from recent incidents involving minors, Casper Police have released a chart detailing quarterly reported incidents involving juvenile suspects.

“2024 tested our community in many ways. The most obvious were the (four) murders in our community, including two juvenile deaths,” the release said.

“As a department, we support and collaborate with community groups, professional organizations and individuals who advocate for the youth in our community. We encourage our sworn and professional employees to participate in community events and groups that benefit our youth population.”

“Crime and crime statistics are not a balance sheet. No amount of kindness can compensate for the loss of human life. This time of collaboration, cooperation and circumstance cannot be wasted. When individuals come together, when policy and practice align, and when funding is secured, the product is safe. Our community is resilient and the future is bright. It is an honor to serve.”
