Approximately 65,000 New Yorkers live with Parkinson’s disease. Neurodegenerative disease affects the body’s nervous system and the parts of the body controlled by nerves.

6. The bill would help prevent collisions with wildlife by providing them with a path through New York

The New York State Department of Transportation estimates that there are 65,000 collisions between vehicles and deer each year. The cost of this is estimated at $40,000.
