Buffalo raid reveals loaded guns and $20,000 in cash, police say

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A raid on Richmond Avenue resulted in the seizure of more than $20,000 in cash, among other things, according to Buffalo Police.

Police said they executed a search warrant at an address in the 400 block of the street last Friday.

In addition to the cash, police said they also found two loaded handguns, ammunition, a high-capacity ammunition feeding device and approximately 1.5 pounds of marijuana.

As a result, 25-year-old Buffalo resident Brandon Gaines was charged with second- and third-degree possession of a weapon.
