Many Atlanta breweries are family-friendly, so you can relax with a beer while the kids play games and enjoy the outdoor spaces. Plus, visiting a brewery in Atlanta is a great way to support local family-owned businesses!

We’ve rounded up the best family breweries in Atlanta that entertain kids so you can enjoy a pint. Many Atlanta breweries offer food and snacks, or at least allow you to bring your own snacks (great for picky eaters). In some cases, even four-legged fur babies are welcome at these Atlanta breweries!

Family breweries in Atlanta – Intown

1. Eventide Brewery – Grant Park

Just steps from the Atlanta BeltLine, Eventide welcomes families and dogs with outdoor seating and family-friendly board games. Although there is no restaurant on site, this brewery occasionally hosts food trucks. Then, cross the street to the popular Grant Park Farmers’ Market held on Sundays.

2. Fire Maker Brewing Company – Upper Westside

Wet your whistle at this family-friendly spot featuring a tap room, covered outdoor patio, and separate beer garden. The kids can play arcade or board games while you drink beers, ciders, seltzers, or even coffee from Fire Maker. Dining offerings include snacks and lunch specials from the on-site Mungo’s Snack Shack.

3. Monday Night Brew – Upper Westside and West End

This popular family spot has two locations in Atlanta: one near Westside Park and the other next to Lee+White Food Hall. Kids will enjoy the large outdoor area with fire pits and cornhole, board games and tasty wood-fired pizzas. Check the website for family events which in the past have included a family movie morning, pumpkin carving and more.

4. New Realm Brewing Company – Old Fourth Ward

Bike to explore the Atlanta BeltLine’s Eastside Trail and stop at New Realm Brewing for beer, burgers, and live music. There you will find a large selection of beers and a full restaurant (with a children’s menu!). The brewery features an outdoor patio and rooftop terrace with views of downtown Atlanta.

5. Round Trip Brewing Company – Upper Westside

Kids enjoy the playscape at this German-themed brewery, which also welcomes dogs. Bring your own food or check social media for food vendor schedules. In addition to draft beers, Round Trip offers cherry seltzer, kombucha, sodas and snacks. Special events include quizzes, quick puzzles and LEGO nights.

6. Scofflaw Brewing Company – Upper Westside

Kids won’t want to leave Scofflaw Brewing Company’s MacArthur location with its outdoor basketball court, lawn games, bocce courts and open grassy area. Bring your own food or purchase a meal from the food trucks available most weekends.

Scofflaw’s neighboring sister site, Dr. Scofflaw’s at the Works, deserves its own mention. This testing lab features the latest Scofflaw beer creations and a dog-friendly patio. You can take open containers throughout the Works property with a food hall, a Sunday afternoon farmers market and The Camp, a one-acre green space with special events and live music!

7. Wild Heaven Beer – Decatur and West End

Head to Wild Heaven Beer’s Avondale location, close to family-friendly attractions in Decatur, or venture out to the West End location on the Atlanta Beltline. Both locations feature large dog-friendly patios, live music, craft beers on tap, and Georgia wines from Georgia.

8. Cherry Street Brewery – Alpharetta and Cumming

Located in Halcyon, this family-owned brewery offers over 20 beers on tap, a full bar, and a restaurant. There is a children’s menu and kids eat free on Tuesday evenings. Halcyon’s open container policy allows parents to stroll around the grounds with a beer in hand, relax in a chair on the Village Green, and let the kids play in the giant sandbox and run around in the big space. Cherry Street Brewing operates another location in Cumming.

9. Mixing of cultures – Norcross

Cultivation Brewery offers a rotating menu of craft beers on tap and a fenced area for kids to play. Additionally, leashed dogs are welcome inside and outside the brewery. Pick up dinner from the food trucks Wednesday through Sunday, or order food from one of the restaurants in historic Norcross, just a half mile away.

10. Gate City Brewing Company – Roswell

At Gate City Brewing, find year-round beers, plus specials and craft cocktails. The kids enjoy the outdoor space and watch the seasonal cornhole leagues. Check out the website for live music, food trucks, and special events including yoga, jewelry pop-ups, and book fairs!

11. Horned Owl Brewery – Kennesaw

Hot dogs, pizza, and loaded rolls will satisfy your family’s appetite at this neighborhood bar featuring a rooftop deck and large dog-friendly patio. Offerings on tap include lagers, stouts, sours and seltzers. Watch a cornhole league, listen to live music, and play trivia and music bingo.

12. Red Hare Brewing: The Still on the Square – Marietta

As Marietta’s oldest microbrewery, Red Hare offers refreshing drinks at its fixed location on Marietta Square. Sit on the outdoor patio and enjoy Cuban-themed dishes, handhelds, and a kids’ menu. Check out the activities along Marietta Square, including annual events like Marietta Art in the Park and May-Retta Daze.

13. Reformation Brewery – Canton, Smyrna and Woodstock

Kids (and pups) can enjoy the large outdoor space at each Reformation Brewery location. Families can bring food from nearby restaurants! In addition to trivia and music bingo, Reformation hosts kid-friendly events such as the recent Taylor Swift TTPD Release Party with karaoke and bracelet making.

14. Slow Pour Brewing Company – Lawrenceville

This family-owned brewery has a tasting room and dog-friendly beer garden! Slow Pour is the perfect place for families to play bingo, watch corn leagues, visit food trucks, and listen to live music. Come to the twice-monthly Slow Pour Sunday Market, which features produce and goods from local merchants.

15. Terrapin Brewery and Taproom – Cumberland

What’s not to love about this brewery located in Battery Atlanta – especially when the Braves are playing?! Watch any sports game on giant screens and imbibe Los Bravos Mexican beer (named after the Atlanta Braves). Food is provided in conjunction with Fox Brothers BBQ and includes a children’s menu. Make sure to save room for the banana pudding!

16. Tucker Brewery – Tucker

If you love the outdoors, head to this brasserie with a huge beer garden, a kids’ sandbox, and live music. Families love the giant pretzel (bigger than a dinner plate!) and playing yard games. The brasserie, opened by a brother and sister, offers German-style dishes ranging from bratwurst to pork schnitzel.
