Saturday’s Braves game against the Padres was rained out and moved to Monday

Today’s Braves game against the Padres at Truist Park has been postponed due to inclement weather. He will be caught Monday as part of a split doubleheader.

On Monday, the first match will start at 12:20 p.m., as initially scheduled. Saturday’s makeup game will begin at 6:20 p.m.

Bryce Elder, who was scheduled to start Saturday for the Braves, will start Sunday’s game against San Diego, broadcast on ESPN. Yu Darvish will pitch for the Padres.

On Monday, Reynaldo López will start the first game of the doubleheader for Atlanta, and Chris Sale will start the nightcap. The Padres will start Dylan Cease and Randy Vásquez, but they have not officially announced the order.

Saturday’s game was scheduled to start at 7:15 p.m. Before that, the Braves announced that the game would start with some delay. When this announcement came, the tarpaulin was not on the ground. It wasn’t raining.

The rain started around 8 p.m. and continued until the Braves announced its postponement. Their announcement came shortly before 9 p.m.
