City of Houston releases cooling centers, ice and water centers throughout Harris County

The city of Houston has released a list of places where people without air conditioning can seek help while power is restored.

People who need transportation to a cooling center can contact 3-1-1 and request a free ride.

Here are the verified locations of the cooling centers:

Metropolitan Multi-Service Center in W. Gray

Acres Homes Multi-Service Center

Sunnyside Health and Multi-Service Center
