Tonight’s Bandits match includes a friendly bet between mayors

BUFFALO, N.Y. — The last time Byron Brown placed a friendly bet with another mayor on a sporting event was in January, when the Buffalo Bills hosted a playoff game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Mayor Brown lost that bet and sent over a platter of Buffalo wings from the Deco Lounge in downtown Buffalo.

On the other end of the line, Albany Mayor Kathy Sheehan presents a cheesecake platter from Cheesecake Machismo and a bottle of ALB vodka made by the Albany Distilling Company. This vodka is served at Madison Square Garden, Yankee Stadium and on JetBlue flights.
