Meow Wolf announces 10 Texas artists for Houston location

Experimental artistic collective Meow Wolf has announced that 10 more Texas artists will collaborate on its fifth permanent installation in Houston, Texas.

Artists, including muralists, sculptors, sign designers and character designers, will work with Meow Wolf’s in-house artist team, as well as more than 40 other artists. contributing artists from Texas.

New artists confirmed for Meow Wolf in Houston are Mathieu Jean Baptiste, Edilia Bautista Fine Arts, Hannah Bull, Caitlin Caselli, Mel Eason (Joybrush Signs), Patrick Medrano, Ibraim Nascimento, Lovie Olivia, Jebhani Vargas and Jason Vines.

Via a press release, Meow WolfThe Art Team Working Group (ATTF) uses a diverse range of materials and techniques, from traditional mediums like painting and sculpture to cutting-edge technologies.

During the inauguration of a new exhibition site, the artistic team sends out between 20 and 30 artists to guide many aspects of the art-building process, Meow Wolf said.

Previously led by the late founder of Meow Wolf Matt King And Matt Crimminsthe Houston art team is now supervised by Crimmins with the help of managers Elise Garza And Laura Davidson.

Houston will be Meow Wolf’s fifth permanent exhibition. It is being created in the historic Fifth Ward. The name, theme and opening date of the venue have not yet been revealed.
