This comes just one day after civil rights and personal injury attorney Ben Crump and family revealed new details related to the incident that claimed the life of U.S. Airman Roger Fortson.

Some of those details include Crump pointing out discrepancies in the Sheriff’s Office’s account of the disturbance at Fortson’s apartment, as well as body camera audio showing the woman who called the deputy without knowing where it was coming from the perturbation.

Crump also added that radio recordings indicated that information about the disturbance calls was vague and came from a fourth party in the leasing office. The Fortson family argued that Roger Fortson was home alone, contradicting allegations of male-female disturbances.

The family then gave heartbreaking testimonies about their life with Roger Fortson. Her little sister talked about trips to theme parks with her brother and her willingness to lend a helping hand when the family needed it. “We might not have had food, but he always came to see if we needed anything,” she said, tears streaming down her face. “I miss my brother.”
