First Baptist Church of Houston’s Sienna Campus Now Offers Counseling Services

After closing its downtown Missouri location in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, First Baptist Church of Houston has reopened the Julianna Poor Memorial Counseling Center on its Sienna Parkway campus, said Counseling Minister Gene Burrus.

What they offer

JPMCC provides a faith-based clinical counseling service to promote the emotional, psychological, and spiritual health of individuals, marriages, and families.

The paid services are offered by professional counselors on the church’s Siena campus, and counselors seek solutions to personal and interpersonal problems through the application of the Bible, according to the church’s website.

The Siena campus offers different services, such as:

• Individual and couples counseling
• Family advice
• Group advice
• Retirements
• Intensive sessions
