When is Houston’s bye week?

The Houston Texans officially know when their games will be in 2024 and it’s a far cry from the schedule they had a year ago in terms of national exposure. The Texans will compete in four primetime games and play six total games outside of the traditional Sunday afternoon time slot.

Another question fans ask when looking at their team’s schedule is when the bye week will be. The bye week is important because it gives teams a chance to rest, relax, and recharge for the second half (well, depending on when their bye week is, as it can sometimes be quite early during this year). When will this happen for the Texans in 2024?

The Texans have a late bye week this year and their break won’t come until Week 14. That means the Texans will play until early December before taking some time to recharge, then they’ll finish all four final games on their schedule before hopefully adding several more games for the playoffs.

While it’s better to have a late bye week than a very early one, the Texans having to wait until December for their bye week is going to be tough. Hopefully they can stay injury free and then have the perfect time to rest and focus on what will hopefully be a deep playoff run.
