2 people rescued from water in Buffalo early Thursday morning

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Two people found hanging off Gallagher Pier were rescued from the water early Thursday morning.

Crews were seen on Fuhrmann Boulevard in Buffalo around 1:30 a.m. It’s unclear if crews were searching for others, as a helicopter then continued to circle the area.

News 4 has reached out to Buffalo Police for more information, including why the two were in the water.
