Firefighter, 2 others injured in southeast Houston apartment fire

HOUSTON – The Houston Fire Department said a firefighter and two other people were injured and taken to the emergency room during an apartment fire in southeast Houston Wednesday evening.

Crews are on site at 8282 Park Place Blvd. and we are currently working to put out the fire.

The firefighter and two other people transported to the emergency room were reportedly slightly injured.

The department is asking people to avoid the area due to heavy emergency traffic.
