Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office announces death investigation in Fairfield area – Action News Jax

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office has announced a death investigation in the Fairfield area at 2000 Talleryand Ave.

According to the JSO, at approximately 4:30 p.m., the Jacksonville Homicide Unit was asked to respond to a reported death investigation in the JaxPort area.

Detectives from the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office Homicide and Criminal Investigation Division responded and are investigating, along with the U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Customs and Border Patrol and OSHA.

It was reported that the death was an undetermined death caused by an accident.
