Hamilton County Police Investigate Fatal Shooting in Cleves

CLEVES, Ohio – Police are investigating after a man was killed in a shooting Sunday night.

According to a press release from the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, officers were called to the 5900 block of East Miami River Road in Cleves at 2:57 p.m. for a report of shots fired.

According to police, when officers arrived at the scene they found a man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

The man was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital Western Ridge where he was pronounced dead.

The Hamilton County Police Association SWAT team was called and assisted in searching a nearby property near the scene of the murder.

The identity of the victim is not being released at this time until family has been notified.
