Tempe police investigate shooting at Arizona Mills mall

Tempe police were investigating a shooting at the Arizona Mills mall Friday night.

There was no active shooter, but the department said an active investigation was underway. People were evacuated from the mall and surrounding streets were closed.

Police advised everyone to stay away from the area. The shopping center is located between Southern Avenue, Baseline Road, Priest Drive and Interstate 10.
