2024 Sunset at Knox Farms State Park Stables

2024 Sunset at Knox Farms State Park Stables

Every summer, throughout the month of July, 42 North hosts a Friday evening concert series. The live music series, titled Sunset at the stablesfeatures some of the area’s hottest bands, playing in one of the area’s most scenic venues: Knox Farms State Park.

“This concert series is about introducing people to original music,” said John Cimperman, event producer and founder of 42 North Brewery, which recently opened a brewery in the heart of downtown Buffalo . “Like last year, we have a great lineup of regional musicians and we can’t wait for everyone to experience great music at the farm.” »

Needless to say, Cimperman and his 42 North team have done a lot for Buffalo and Western New York by putting heart and soul into their projects. Sunset at the stables is no different. Funds raised through this music series help the Friends of Knox Farm State Park maintain the state park grounds, including historic structures located on site. Sunset at the Stables is a great way to take it all in while listening to some fantastic tunes.

Here is the list of musicians:

  • Sunset at the Stables will kick off Friday, July 5 with Rochester’s indie Americana sounds, Public water supply. Public Water Supply has gained a strong following in Western New York and will bring its lively show to Knox Farm.
  • On Friday, July 12, Sunset at the Stables welcomes Johnny Hart & The Mess to Sunset at the Stables for the first time. Johnny Hart and the Messpride of South Buffalo, will bring its energy and original rock sounds to the park.
  • The third week of the series brings back the Leroy Townes Group. Leroy and the band have taken the stage at every Borderland festival and sold out venues across the region.
  • Finally, to conclude the musical series, Sunset at the Stables brings back the very popular PA Line. PA line prides itself on its “real grit” Americana, a dynamic blend of base and soul.

Guests at Knox Farms State Park during performances will have access to food and drinks from 42 North Brewing Company, 1911 Cider, Rosie’s Handcrafted Ice Cream and some of Buffalo’s most popular food trucks.
