Tragic bus crash on Mississippi Interstate leaves seven dead

According to the Mississippi Highway Patrol, a public bus overturned on Interstate 20 in Mississippi on Saturday morning, killing seven people.

Among the dead were a 6-year-old boy and his 16-year-old sister, who were identified by their mother. The National Transportation Safety Board said the cause was a tire blowout.

37 passengers were taken to hospitals in Vicksburg and Jackson. The investigation is ongoing and the names of the dead have not yet been released.
