Second-grader in Uppal-Telangana sexually abused today

At a private school in Uppal, a second-grade girl was sexually harassed by a ninth-grade student. In response to the incident, the school administration expelled the student from the school by issuing him a transfer certificate.

Hyderabad: A second-grade girl at a private school in Uppal was allegedly sexually abused by a ninth-grade student.

The school administration stated that the boy was immediately expelled from school and the parents of the boy and girl were informed after the incident came to light.

Although the exact circumstances of the incident are unclear, the victim informed his parents on Thursday, who then protested at the school, demanding that the school administration respond to the incident and take action against the suspected child.

In immediate response, the school management dismissed the child involved in the incident from school by issuing him a Transfer Certificate (TC).

Later in the day, there was mild tension as activists and members of political parties and student groups protested on the school premises demanding strict action. Uppal police reached the spot, registered the parents’ complaint and started investigation.
