Coil falls from heavy truck during two-vehicle collision on East Freeway, blocking multiple lanes

HOUSTON – A coil is back on a Houston freeway and causing headaches for drivers Tuesday afternoon.

The incident was reported at 12:10 p.m. on IH-10 East before Wayside Drive.

According to Houston TranStar, the truck lost its load in a collision between two vehicles. A large coil is blocking two center lanes.

Teams responded to the scene to clear the debris.

No injuries were reported.
