BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A previously convicted Depew man pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography after images depicting prepubescent minors were found on his phone, the U.S. Attorney’s Office announced Tuesday.

Cameron Stroke, 43, was convicted of a federal charge of possession of child pornography in October 2019. He was sentenced to five years of probation, authorities said.

Less than four years later, in May 2023, an unauthorized cell phone was found in his possession containing 181 images and 12 videos of child pornography. Some of the images depicted prepubescent minors.

Stroke faces a minimum sentence of 10 years, a maximum sentence of 20 years and a $250,000 fine when he is sentenced Oct. 29.
