Water main rupture shuts down Houston Space Center Tuesday

HOUSTON – Space Center Houston announced it would be closed Tuesday due to a water main break.

“Our priority is the safety and well-being of our guests and crew members, and we are prepared to take the necessary precautions to ensure a safe environment,” Space Center Houston said.

Reservationists with questions are asked to contact the reservations department by email or call 281-283-4755. All tickets are valid for one year from the date of purchase.

They said Space U and Explorer camps will not be open. Program participants should email [email protected] to review options.

“Updates on the status of operations will be communicated via our official social channels @spacecenterhou on Instagram, @spacecenterhouston on Facebook and the Space Center Houston website. We thank our customers for their understanding and apologize for the inconvenience,” Space Center Houston said.
