Buffalo Trace Announces Pop-Up in Paris

Buffalo Trace Distillery has announced the opening of a temporary pop-up store in Paris this summer.

Located at 36 rue Etienne Marcel in the 2nd arrondissement of Paris (Les Halles district), the completely renovated retail store will offer fans the opportunity to purchase a variety of whiskeys from the world’s most awarded distillery, including Buffalo Trace, Weller 12, Eagle Rare and Sazerac Rye, as well as custom Paris-themed products, some of which can only be found at the pop-up this summer.

“In May of this year, we opened Buffalo Trace London, our distillery’s first international location, and we are honored to continue to engage and educate international whisky lovers with our Paris boutique this summer,” said Ed Bell, Homeplace Director, Buffalo Trace Distillery, in a press release. “While everyone is welcome to visit Buffalo Trace Distillery in the United States, we want to make it easy for Paris residents and visitors to learn, explore, try and fall in love with our whiskeys.”

“We know there will be an increase in foot traffic in the city in July and August, and our prime location will give visitors an excuse to go beyond sporting and cultural events during their stay in the city.”

Beyond the retail experience, fans of Buffalo Trace Distillery in Paris from July 26 to August 11 will have the opportunity to experience a special, exclusive whiskey tasting highlighting some of the distillery’s rarest and most coveted Weller Bourbon expressions.

Private, free tastings for up to four guests will be offered to a very limited number of visitors. 12 gold coins – a bespoke Weller-themed guest lounge created especially for the experience. Tastings will feature a variety of Weller expressions, including some of the first European releases of the ultra-rare and recently released Weller Millennium.

In order to be eligible to obtain a unique place in a lifetime at 12 gold coinsfans must:
