Jim Kelly Football Camp Returns for 36th Year

Jim Kelly Football Camp is back for its 36th year.

More than 800 children aged 8 to 13 take over Highmark Stadium throughout the week.

The Bills Hall of Fame quarterback teaches kids football skills and other important things like nutrition and life lessons.

“It’s a lot of fun, as you’ve seen, I enjoy it, but you know what, on the other hand, I get a little serious sometimes too,” Kelly said. “You have to have fun, that’s the number one goal. But secondly, you want to learn something. You come here Monday, and I told them the first day, come here Monday, and when you leave Wednesday, think in your mind, ‘Did I learn something? Did I improve?’”

Attendees will also be treated to a tour of Highmark Stadium and a signed photo from Jim Kelly himself.

Bills training camp has already begun, with rookies reporting to camp Tuesday. Next week, veterans will move to St. John Fisher University in Pittsford.
