MARTA police officer injured in car crash

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – MARTA police are investigating an overnight crash involving one of their officers in southwest Atlanta.

The incident happened near the railroad tracks at the intersection of West Whitehall Street and Lee Street.

Atlanta police said the MARTA officer involved in the crash was taken to the hospital.
