After the coronavirus pandemic shut down the 2020 International Series, the NFL returns to London this weekend as the Atlanta Falcons take on the New York Jets at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Tottenham hosted its first two NFL games in 2019, but had to wait two years for the league’s highly anticipated return, after all games scheduled overseas were flown back to the United States last year in full pandemic.

This year’s two-game series begins with the Jets and rookie quarterback Zach Wilson looking to build on last weekend’s first win of the season against the Tennessee Titans.

They face a Falcons team that has been in decline in recent years, having reached the Super Bowl just five seasons ago, and with veteran quarterback Matt Ryan struggling to live up to former heights.

The first game of this year’s International Series is scheduled to kick off at 2:30 p.m. BST on Sunday, October 10, 2021.

The match will be played at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
