Two people attacked in their home when two teenagers broke in

TWO teenagers broke into a house and attacked two other people inside.

The victims, a man and a woman, were in a house on Goliath Road in Hamworthy when the two men, a 17-year-old and a 19-year-old, both from Poole, broke in.

According to officials, the couple was attacked and had to be treated in hospital.

The men then also damaged a car.

Police rushed to the house and arrested the two men, who were presumably known to the victims.

A Dorset Police spokeswoman said: “On Thursday 11 July 2024, at 5.20pm, Dorset Police received a report of a disturbance at an address on Goliath Road, Poole.

“It was reported that two men gained access to the property and attacked a man and a woman and then damaged a car.

“Officers attended the scene and the two victims were taken to hospital for treatment. Two men were subsequently arrested in connection with the incident and investigations are ongoing.

“It is assumed that the alleged perpetrators are known to the victims.”
