Additional resources announced late July 10 for the Greater Houston area include food distribution at Interfaith of The Woodlands and several American Red Cross shelters.

Woods

Interfaith of The Woodlands is distributing food and water via a drive-thru in its parking lot starting at 8:30 a.m. on July 12. Donations of non-perishable food items can be made to the interfaith food pantry starting July 11.

American Red Cross Shelters

The American Red Cross has opened 10 emergency shelters with local partners providing meals, sleeping quarters and cooling centers. On July 11, it will also distribute food, water and emergency supplies to affected communities.

  • Sts. Catholic Parish. Simon & Jude, 26777 Glen Loch Drive, The Woodlands
  • West Montgomery County Community Development Center, 31355 Friendship Drive, Magnolia
