“If you are a victim and have not yet reported it, or if you have video of your residents during the late night or early morning hours of the past few days that you believe could help officers identify the suspect(s), please call 508-778-3874,” police said.

“Residents are also reminded that if they discover that their vehicle has been broken into, they should call police immediately and not touch the vehicle or any items inside to preserve any fingerprints or evidence that the suspect(s) may have left behind.”

Police also recommend that residents establish a so-called “9 p.m. routine.” This includes using this time to check that the house and car are locked, remove all valuables from the car and turn on all outside lights.
