July 9 – Erie County Trappers Association Family Dinner The meal starts at 7 p.m. at Wattengel’s, 12580 Jennings Road, Lawtons. Bring a dish to share.

July 9 – Wood & Brook Sportsman’s Club Trap or Skeet League Tournament is scheduled to begin. Twelve rounds of trap or skeet in any combination for 300 targets. Teams are five to seven people. Shooting Tuesdays and Sundays. For more information, call Ben Baker at 716-983-0026.

July 11 – Summer Doubles League at the Boston Valley Conservation Society, 9624 Zimmerman Road, Boston. Registration hours are 6-8 p.m. The league will run for six weeks with 300 double targets. Targets can be registered with the ATA.

July 11 – Western New York Walleye The monthly meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus, 36 Pierce Ave., Hamburg. This meeting has been postponed due to a conflict with the July 4 holiday.

July 11 – Lake Ontario Trout and Salmon Association Monthly Meeting The event begins at 7 p.m. at the North Amherst Fire Company, 2200 Tonawanda Creek Road, Amherst. The guest speaker will be Capt. John Oravec of Tight Lines Charters. The event is open to all.

July 11 – Southtowns Walleye Association of WNY Monthly Meeting begins at 7 p.m. at 5895 Southwestern Blvd., Hamburg.
