South Texas Braces for Tropical Storm Beryl

The latest forecast from the National Hurricane Center shows a renewed push eastward of what will likely become Hurricane Beryl again.

The hurricane watch has been expanded to parts of Brazoria County.

Meanwhile, storm surge monitoring has been extended to High Island in Galveston County.

Now it’s time to prepare.

Voluntary evacuations are already underway in Matagorda County.

Failing to plan is planning to fail.

FRIDAY JULY 5 – 9:00 p.m. CT – As Tropical Storm Beryl enters the Gulf of Mexico, the former Category 5 hurricane is expected to intensify again before making final landfall along the Texas Gulf Coast.
