Houston Dash fans can bring dogs to the next game against Portland

For sports fans who have ever felt guilty about leaving their four-legged friend at home to watch a game, the Houston Dash will help ease their minds during the May 17 game. Dogs are welcome to accompany their fur moms or dads to the game against the Portland Thorns.

According to the National Women’s Soccer League rankings, the Houston Dash have a 1-4-3 WDL record (win, draw or loss), which places them 13th out of 14 teams. They suffered their fifth straight loss to NJ/NY Gotham FC – the 2023 NWSL champions – on Wednesday night, going 1-0.

The Dash will travel to California to face Angel City FC at BMO Stadium on May 12 at 6:30 p.m. CT. The team will return home to face the Thorns, currently ranked fourth in the NWSL, at Shell Energy Stadium at 7 p.m.
