Accident involving car and IndyGo bus on northwest side is under investigation

INDIANAPOLIS – Emergency crews responded to an accident involving an IndyGo bus on Indy’s northwest side Friday morning.

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police, Indianapolis Fire Department and EMS were dispatched to Harding Street and 18 around 6 a.m.^th Street.

Video from the scene showed a car and an IndyGo bus colliding at the intersection, leaving a third vehicle nearby as nothing more than a pile of rubble.

An ambulance, an IMPD car and an IFD truck were on the scene. Police cordoned off the intersection with crime scene tape.

The circumstances of the crash remain under investigation.
