NW Houston: 4-year-old dies after being left alone in hot vehicle

HOUSTON (KIAH) – A four-year-old girl was pronounced dead after being left alone in a vehicle for a short period of time. The incident happened at an apartment complex located at 6565 Hollister in northwest Houston.

According to the information received, the vehicle was initially occupied by two adult women and three children. When the vehicle stopped, the two adults and only two children got out of the vehicle.

After a while, the adults realized that the four-year-old girl had not been found. The girl was found and taken to a local hospital. She did not survive.
