ATLANTA— Lifestyle brand Zuo returns to Casual Market Atlanta later this month with a grand opening event—including a performance by electric violinist Michelle Winters—and a massive assortment of new products.

After 12 years in the Chicago casual market, Oakland, Calif.-based Zuo decided to try something new.

“We spent 10 years there and had a great time, but like everything in life, it was time to move on. We love the new environment in Atlanta and see great opportunities for the future and growth,” said Luis Ruesga, CEO and President of Zuo Home accents today.

It has established itself in a 6,000 square foot space in AmericasMart Building 1, 6th floor, space B19, where it will showcase more than 350 references available for immediate delivery.

Casual Market Atlanta will take place July 15-18 and will be co-located with Atlanta Market, which is scheduled for July 16-22.

“We are excited to bring our original outdoor designs to Casual Market Atlanta and to once again be a part of the International Casual Furniture Association (ICFA),” said Ruesga.

To mark the official opening, Zuo is hosting an exclusive opening party on Monday, July 15 from 3-5pm in the B19 space featuring Michelle Winters, a world-renowned electric violinist with experience in both traditional and modern genres, blending the artistry of classical violin with contemporary electronic sounds.

“As we redouble our focus on the casual market, we further expanded our hospitality business and continued to grow our outdoor business with designers, organizers and retailers,” said Steve Poon, who co-founded Zuo in 2005 with Ruesga and serves as its chief operating officer.

Zuo’s hospitality business is designed in-house and includes bar, lounge, occasional, lighting, decor and outdoor collections.

According to members of the product development team, the company’s largest growth segment over the past two decades has been private label and direct packaging. “This growth has strengthened our ability to design and develop customized products for our broad range of customers. We offer styles that meet their individual needs and meet their budget while exceeding their expectations.”

Zuo’s 2024 Lifestyle Book can be viewed here. Zuo will also be exhibiting at the Las Vegas Market from July 28th to August 1st, in Building A, 2nd Floor, Space A-216.
