Kauai Police Again Ask for Help in Amber Jackson Murder Case: Kauai Now

The Kauai Police Department renews its request for information regarding an unsolved murder that occurred on July 3, 2010, and says authorities continue to pursue any leads that may advance the investigation.

The announcement comes exactly fourteen years after Amber Jackson’s body was found in a remote and inaccessible part of the island in Kealia after she was reported missing on June 23, 2010.

A subsequent autopsy revealed that she had died from blunt force trauma to the head and had injuries consistent with an assault.

So far, no arrests have been made and the investigation into this case is still ongoing.

The Amber Jackson Justice Group (AJJG), founded by Jackson’s family and friends, continues to search for answers to Jackson’s tragic death by working with various mainstream media outlets for unsolved murder cases. KPD and the District Attorney’s Office continue to invest resources in solving the murder of Amber Jackson. “Our goal has always been to find and hold accountable those responsible for Amber’s death. We believe there is someone out there who has information that could help in the arrest of the killer(s). If you have information that could help solve this tragic death, we encourage you to come forward and speak with investigators,” said Assistant Chief Kalani Ke.

The AJJG is offering a $20,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Jackson’s killer.

Anyone with information regarding the disappearance or death of Amber Jackson is asked to contact the Kaua’i Police Department at (808) 241-1711.

Those wishing to remain anonymous can provide information by calling Crime Stoppers Kaua’i at (808) 246-8300, submitting a tip at cskauai.org, or using the Crime Stoppers Kaua’i P3 Tips mobile app, available for download for Android and Apple mobile devices.
