After Going Viral, Bills Friendship Bracelets Now Benefit Oishei

(WIVB) — Logan Bittner is a die-hard Bills fan who loves to get everyone involved in the Bills mafia. One way he does this is through friendship bracelets.

The 10-year-old’s homemade accessory recently went viral after he mailed one to rookie Keon Coleman. The wide receiver wore the red, white and blue bracelet in his official NFL photos, sparking interest in the trend.

Now, anyone can get their hands on Logan’s friendship bracelets thanks to a partnership with 26 Shirts. The young fan wanted to find a way to help others through the sales and chose Oishei Children’s Hospital where his mother, Krystle, works.

“The idea that I’m helping so many kids is really amazing,” Logan said.

Each bracelet costs $8, and $5 from each sale goes to the hospital. In their first run, the Bittners made 500 bracelets and sold them within days, raising $2,500.

“I didn’t think I was going to make bracelets at first,” said Colin Bittner, Logan’s father. “But it’s been a really rewarding experience for us, and it makes it a lot easier knowing that these bracelets are going to help little kids like Logan.”

The second series of bracelets is back on the 26 Shirts website, while supplies last, with multiple sizes available.
