Charlotte FC loses winning streak to Houston Dynamo, 1-0

HOUSTON, TX (AP) — Charlotte FC lost to the Houston Dynamo, the team’s first loss after a short winning streak.

Patrick Agyemang led Charlotte FC into the match after scoring two goals against the Philadelphia Union.

Houston’s Ibrahim Aliyu came out strong, scoring the first and only point of the game in the first half off an assist from Sebastián Ferreira.

The Dynamo (8-6-6) is ranked 5th in the Western Conference.

Charlotte (9-5-6) ranks 6th in the Eastern Conference

The next match against Inter Miami CF will be at home at Bank of America Stadium on July 3 starting at 7:30 p.m.
