Taste of Diversity 2024 celebrates Buffalo’s cultural heritage

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — It wasn’t the day organizers dreamed of, but the rain provided a beautiful backdrop for those who came for the 2024 Taste of Diversity.

“It’s just about being together, no matter how big or small, just coming together for a common goal and just enjoying the moment and living it,” said Syidah Sabir, a dancer with Mahatammoho Collective.

The celebration brings together the flavors, traditions and talents of our diverse community.

Vendors sold all kinds of foods, art, jewelry and spices.

The rain forced them to reduce their activity a little, but people still came to enjoy it.

“We definitely support the West Side, the heart of Buffalo. We are strong in Buffalo, so no matter the weather, no matter the date, no matter the conditions, we will be there to support each other,” said Natasha Perkins, festival co-chair.
