Suspects arrested in Valley City armed robbery Thursday night | The Mighty 790 KFGO

VALLEY CITY, ND (KFGO) – Two people were arrested following an armed robbery Thursday night, according to Valley City Police.

Officers arrived at the 200 block of College Street South East around 6:30 a.m., where they encountered two victims who reported the suspects fled the area and they had been identified.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol also responded and located the suspects at a home in Sanborn, about 12 miles west of Valley City.
Authorities set up a perimeter around the house. At first, the suspects refused to respond to authorities, but eventually both came out voluntarily and were taken into custody. Their names have not yet been released.

The investigation is ongoing and further information will be released later.
