Nickel City comic strip Buffalo’s Largest Pop Culture Celebration is set to return to the Buffalo Convention Center this weekend, with more than 50 celebrity guests confirmed for the eighth annual event.

“Not only will this year host the largest guest lineup ever, but Buffalo will host the only reunion of the ‘Dukes of Hazzard’ and ‘American Pie’ in New York State in 2024,” said Chris Dabrowski, president from Nickel City. Comic Con.

“This year we will see the largest list of suppliers and exhibitors since the show’s inception in 2016,” he added.

Nickel City Comic Con will feature over 125,000 square feet of exhibitors, artists, comics, cosplay, superheroes, attractions, Q&A panels and a huge lineup of celebrity guests covering several generations.

“Whether you’re a fan of the new TV shows and movies, or a fan of the most nostalgic generation, there’s sure to be something for everyone at Nickel City Comic Con,” Dabrowski said. “From movie cars to costumes, comic books to celebrities, Nickel City Con will be the place to be in Western New York this weekend.”

Celebrity guests confirmed for this year include: John Schneider, Catherine Bach and Tom Wopat (“Dukes of Hazzard”); Shannon Elizabeth, Tara Reid, Thomas Ian Nicholas and Chris Owen (“American Pie”); wrestling legends Sting, Kane, Rob Van Dam, Mick Foley, Rikishi and Sgt. Slaughter; and much more.
